Theres no two way’s about it, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been quite possibly the biggest FPS shooter of this generation so far and even today over a year after its release most of us are still playing it and activision will be re-releasing the title again in the near future.
The UK’s biggest gaming retailer GAME has provided us with a release date for the Classic Edition of Call Of Duty 4. While GAME doesn’t provide much any information about whats different about this edition apart from the name, we suspect that it will include all the content the first re-release had (i.e GOTY edition) however what else is anyones guess. At first guess we thought that this edition may be released at a cheaper price to tempt the last few people who don’t already own this game to buy it but with GAME listing it at a price of £39.99 we can’t see this being the case. Anyway expect this re-release to hit stores sometime this month.

“and even today years after its release…”
Years after release? When was this game launched, 2001? COD4 is one and a half years old!
Correction – It’s one of the biggest/best FPS’s of this generation. (What’s up KZ2)

It has not been “years” since release, it came out in november 2007, it is now march 2009 which means 1 year and 4 months.

Funky Monk you can hardly compare KZ2 to COD4 can you? it sold over 7 million in 2007 and as it’s already been stated came out in november of that year….it’s in a league of it’s own above KZ2
