A ‘Fake’ advert has hit the internet over the last couple of days showing what appears to be an advert for Killzone 2 which will be showing during this weekends NFL Superbowl. Now with a potentail 100million people watching it, it would make sence that Sony promote the game during the match, however it has proven to be not the case.
USA Today has published a list of adverts which will appear during the Superbowl and the only ones which will be featured from Sony are ones promoting the films Angels & Demons and The Year One.
Sorry, however with a decent budget confirmed for the UK to promote the game at least we will see a fair amount of adverts over here for sure.

Well Michael Bay has confirmed Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen will have a trailer during the 3rd Quarter, yet this publication does not list it. So its incomplete. I think the Killzone 2 trailer is fake, but you can’t confirm it, so change your title.

I really do think Sony are missing out on their ‘potentail 100 million viewers’
J/K, but the amount of people that watch this game, even those who just watch for betting purposes (outside of NA) is so large, the $3million is nothing compared to the amount of people it’ll reach

i do think that the killzone ad is fake, however i would be VERY surprised if Sony didnt have a playstation 3 commercial advertising not not killzone 2 but the entire platform. of course i dont even care much because i dont watch football nor do i care about commercials in general because i dont watch tv!

You have to take into account that outside the USA, the adverts are different and most the time there is not as many. Still here in the UK the BBC are showing the Superbowl and that means No Adverts not so ever.
All the adverts shown during the superbowl are only seen by US viewers.

Anyway, I still think this ad is fake. It doesn’t look good enough to be real (in sound/quality), and parts of it are kind of cheesy. At least I hope it’s fake.

But then, the amount of people watching via Live Streaming sites cannot be ignored.

sony needs to get there head out of there ass and start advertising this game! it would of being perfect to advertise it at the super bowl!but no they show there movies off instead.

Thank You for the links, however none of them truly provide an real evidence and Mr Bay only hints at it.
Still this article has been created on the evidence provided. However on a personal level i would love to see Killzone 2 promoted at the superbowl and a Transformers 2 trailer will always been wrong, so in a way i hope this list is incorrect however i doubt it is.

Transformers 2 trailer will most likely happen here, considering the potential budget Bay will have for this one.
The thing is there are lots of people who watch some sort of stream just for the authentic commentary, which is why I think that, though through possible illegal means, the number of viewers for this will be WAY MORE than 100million.
As for the adverts themselves, sorry for re-quoting myself, but I really hope they’re not like the LBP ads, or the one where the poodle foes into the dryer type of thing
