While this may not come as the biggest surprise in the world, Killzone 2 will be getting downloadable content. Looking at the network features on the back of the US boxart you can see that it clearly states “add-on content”.
Chances are this will be mainly be the usual Map Packs, but you never know, still check back to PlayStation Gamer Uk for the latest news on what this DLC is when we get it.

@GamesPlayer
Thanks for your comment, but i believe that there will be no Co-op mode at all in Killzone 2, im sure that was one of the questions in the Killzone 2 Q&A and on the US official Playstation forums

I think i’ve read somewhere a while ago that vehicles and bots in multiplayer would be available as DLC soon after the release.

This is actually rather irritating. Before they are even releasing games they are announcing DLC. Why this frustrates me is we are already paying for a full game, here in South Africa Killzone will cost half the price of an X-Box but we are told that there is more we must pay for. How do we know that these developers don’t have this stuff done when the game is released but leave it out so they can charge us later!

I don’t want to be the gloomy guy here but the back of Socom Confrontation box said the same thing. To this day not one of those features are available.
All I see now is empty promises and I won’t believe it until it’s in my PS3 and controller in hand.

Actually they already confirmed that after launch there will be DLC to give thee game 4-Player co-op campaign mode, most likely online.
Also, More levels, as well as vehicles were confirmed DLC.
Search goolge, you will see about the 4 player co-op.
